This topic applies only to the NT family of Windows OS (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003 and later).
By default, only users with the write access to the HKLM/Software registry key will be able to control the server.
If you wish to give away some control to other users, you need to add these users (or groups) to the access control list
of the following registry keys under HKLM\Software\Access Remote PC\<version>\server\control and grant write/delete permissions to them.
- Disconnect - disconnect connected users.
- RpcProxy - enable/disable RPC service.
- Listen - start listening, stop listening over IP.
- UIAction - manually accept incoming connections.
