By default, the server listens on the TCP/IP port 34012. You can change the port number on the LAN page of the Remote PC Server window.
Changing the port does not require restarting the server or the listener. All new connection requests will be automatically accepted on the new port.
The status of the listener is shown on the LAN page of the Remote PC Server window.
This page also provides the tools to enable, disable, or specify startup options for the listener.
If you want to accept TCP connection from only specific IP addresses, you can specify IP filters on the LAN page of the Remote PC Server window.
Each filter consists of a arbitrary name assigned by you (e.g. "office"), IP address, and mask.
When Remote PC Server receives a new TCP/IP connection, it compares the peer IP address with each filter until it finds a filter that accepts the peer IP address.
The comparison is done this way: PeerIP & FilterMask == FilterIP & FilterMask. When the comparison is successful, the connection is accepted.
